Scope

The Act and the corresponding implementing decrees (SK MOARD Decree No.245/2005 Coll. laying down details on fertilisers certification and recognition of laboratory and vegetation testing of fertilisers and SK MOARD Decree No.577/2005 Coll. establishing fertiliser types, composition, packaging and labelling of fertilisers, analytical methods for testing fertilisers, risk elements, their limit values for individual fertiliser groups, acceptable deviations and limit values for agricultural fertilisers) lay down the conditions for placing fertilisers on the national market. The conditions concern both the quality composition of the fertilisers (nutrient content and limit values for contaminants) as well as the list of conditions that shall be met for certification at national level and thus for placing on the Slovak market.
