Scope

Decree lays down the conditions for the use of voluntary labelling and words expressing the origin of agricultural products and foodstuffs in the Slovak Republic. This Decree shall apply to agricultural products and foodstuffs that are placed on the market in the Slovak Republic.

Main requirements

The origin of agricultural products and foodstuffs in the Slovak Republic and their regional origin can be expressed in words, by means of a map or another symbol only for those agricultural products and foodstuffs that meet the conditions laid down in this Decree.
