This Decree establishes: a) details on ensuring safety and health protection at work and details on professional qualification for performing particular work activities and operating particular technical devices, b) technical devices which are deemed to be restricted technical devices. This Decree relates to technical pressure, lifting, electrical and gas devices and components thereof (hereinafter “technical devices”). This Decree does not relate to technical devices which are designated products, until their placement on the market or introduction into operation.

The manufacturer and the supplier shall demonstrate, by evidence of the results of inspections, inspections and tests, the characteristics of parts of technical equipment which may affect their safety and for which this is specified in the documentation or safety-technical specifications. Specialised inspection and specialised test or, where appropriate, official test are required for: Lifting devices which are not designed products: • ski lifts as a whole (components and subsystems are designated products according to Regulation No 2016/424 of EP and R • specific equipment designed to move performers during artistic performances Gas and pressure equipment not designed products • gas distribution, gas pressure increase or reduction equipment, cooling and freezing with a gas quantity exceeding 3 kg of refrigerant Electrical equipment not designed products • electrical installations (assessment of the correct choice of components and their involvement due to externalities) • electrical equipment which has not been fitted by the manufacturer with fixed or detachable power supply • electrical equipment designed to be used within a range of nominal voltage greater than 1000V for AC and within a range of rated voltage greater than 1500 V for DC
